Tuesday 6/27

As a follow-up to my post yesterday about my wife finding her “dream home” on Friday.  Sunday, we met with a realtor about selling our current home.  Not really the best news to hear, because unfortunately it looks like to sell our house we are going to need to bring cash to closing.  If we can sell and get out of it flat, and take none of the equity out of the home I’d be happy with that, but I don’t know how I feel about paying to sell my house.  It’s hard to recognize the plan for where we should be going at this time.

Finally took to the pavement again this morning and attempted a run, ok well I actually accomplished a run, but man was it a struggle.  Going to hit my situps, leg raises, and push-ups as well here shortly after I finish the blog post.  Trying to get in shape before I start going to the high school cross country practices and get toasted by all the high school kids.

On Monday this week, I drove to Celina, Ohio to meet with the marketing rep for our agency and the underwriters that I will be working with.  It was a great learning experience, they helped my considerably to understand their farm programs better and what their appetite was for insureds.  I quoted one account with them yesterday, so hopefully we can get everything to fall in line soon because I was really impressed with their assistance.

Tuesday, I got through a couple quotes and one should really make a friend of mine happy.  I’ll be able to save her about 50 bucks a month on auto insurance.  This is the part of the job that I love, helping and educating people!

Make every day great,

Chris
